Mission

Lori Copeland started Resilience Integrative Counseling in 2019 because, over the years, her experience as a licensed professional counselor working with adults, children and teenagers led her to a set of beliefs about how people can change and live more fulfilling lives. She also spent several years as a college professor teaching research, developmental psychology, and counseling. This experience helped her to translate her philosophy into an integrative practice based on both the current body of research and what she learned from the hundreds of people who have shared their struggles and successes with her over the years.

- Resilience -

Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficult life circumstances, overcome obstacles, and move toward values and goals. It is our mission to provide support and resources to our clients in a way that builds on strengths and leads to lasting positive change.

- Integrative Counseling -

Integrative counseling is not just about the use of diverse strategies, but also involves responding to the unique needs of each client with a large “tool bag” of current knowledge and evidence-based practice. In health-focused counseling and coaching we recognize that physical, mental, and emotional health are interwoven.
